On Friday November 8, we had a YouTube premiere of a trailer to the film Kolektiv by Stela Konečná, which will be presented at our festival! The main character is a young girl, who is...well, a little bit different!
"Johana doesn't leave her room. She meets no one and is slightly crazy. You know what I mean! She named the subjects in her household and she keeps a relationship with each of them. It's a story about sex, madness, homicide, friendship and love... Can this even be real?", says the author about the film.

The author has already received several prizes for her work and directed four films so far.
"My name is Stela Konečná and I'm such a writing machine. I've already come to terms with the fact that there exist certain things which I will never be able to make. I can't kick the ball, I can't build a tent and sometimes I can't even count more than my fingers! However, the writing...it's the love of my life! We are together since the time I learnt how to hold a pen and the fact that I didn't even know which letters exist wasn't a barrier for me! Right after my graduation from a village elementary school, I went to Prague which absolutely consumed me. I've graduated from film high school. They sometimes therorized me with math and editing, but they knew well that I was good at writing screenplays! The Czech Television (ČT) chose 2 of my movies and presented them at a festival in Uherské Hradiště. I won the main prize for my school-leaving film at the school festival called FestMichael. During my studies, I was also developing a project for HBO and ČT. My filmography: 2019 - EF, 2020 - Nesvoboda, 2021 - Leptající Pasta, 2021 - Kolektiv."
