Nela Boudová

Nela Boudová studied music and acting in Prague conservatory and for many years she has been performing in various theatres in Karlovy Vary or České Budějovice.

For two seasons she acted in Theatre Za branou II with Otomar Krejčí. At the same time, she appeared in the theatre Labyrint and she was also a member of Prague drama club.

She debuted in criminal movie Mravenci nesou smrt from the director Zbyněk Brynych. Then she acted in movies such as Dotyky, Jestřábí moudrost and in a lot of TV movies as well. In the movie Bylo nás pět she played French governess.

Jan Svěrák casted her in highly acclaimed movie Kolja or Vratné lahve. Marie Poledňáková gave her the role of sister in the movies Líbáš jako Bůh and Líbáš jako ďábel. Several times she played a teacher in movies such as Probudím se včera, Jak básnici čekají na zázrak. In the popular fairytale Micimutr she played mother to the main protagonist. In the movie Bezva ženská na krku she played Mrs. Coufal.

Nela is an exceptional voice actress as well. She dubbed famous actress Julia Roberts in the movie Pretty Woman. She gave her voice for the role of Jenny in Forrest Gump, evil queen in Snowhite, fairy in Hook or in Kung Fu Panda.

She helps in orphanages Domino in her free time, she helps people in need in Tiber and she writes books for children.
