TALK SHOWS - POSTPONED

Due to the situation around pandemic Covid-19 which has worsened significantly we are forced to cancel the talk show on the 1st of December 2021 with the theme: “WHAT it means a film distribution made by the youngest filmmakers, WHY and HOW these films distribute.” We have postponed the talk show for February/March 2022 after mutual agreement with Secondary and High Art School Michael. We will inform you about the exact date in advance on our social media and website.

Talk show will take place December the 1st from 10 a.m. on the topic: “WHAT does distribution of teen and youth films mean? WHY and HOW to distribute such movies?” In cooperation with Higher Vocational School Michael Academy.

The aim is to make young filmmakers familiar with specialized festivals for youth around the world. These festivals are mainly members of YOUTH CINEMA NETWORK (a worldwide network of youth film festivals, organisations and film & media educators).The filmmakers can also get acquainted with other noncommercial possibilities how to distribute a movie in Czech republic as well as in abroad. We would like to talk about what is needed to prepare for these types of festival and also about how to write a well written synopsis and bios of the filmmakers, about how to make quality photographs, about how to choose music (the copyright policies included), about post-production and dialogue script (both in Czech and English language).

The hosts who will be attending the talk show are: the main director of the Youth Cinema Network MARIJA RATKOVIĆ VIDAKOVIĆ, the director of the International Children Film Festival Lahore in Pakistan SHOAIB IQBAL, Mr. PETR MORÁVEK from Czech National TV, the director of A-FilmTeensFest ZUZANA DRAŽILOVÁ, the director of an Irish Film Festival CIARDIA TOBIN and the director of an International Youth Film Festival in Spanish Plasencia JOSÉ LUIS MUNOZ. We expect the other foreign hosts to attend and the list will be updated.
